One of the prestigious colleges located in Baikunthpur, headquarter, of Korea District in Chhattisgarh, established on 5 September 1982 in the old building of BTI hostel. Transferred to a new building in 1984, this college is continuously growing with its educational decorations and facilities.

Government Ramanuj Pratap Singh Deo Post Graduate College is one of the leading college in district Korea of Chhattisgarh and is established in the year 1982 on 5th September. It is affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya Ambikapur, Sarguja. The college has been affiliated by UGC under 2F/12B. The college offers UG and PG courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The college offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of science and Bachelor of commerce courses as UG Courses. The college runs Master of Arts in Hindi, Political science, Sociology and History; master of science in Chemistry and Botany; and master of commerce. Our college houses study center of Pt. Our college previously started in building of BTI hostel shortly and then shifted to new building since 1984 and since then it is growing in infrastructure and in different dimensions.
Our college is situated in Tribal area, where most of the students come from economically and educationally marginalized section, they are lacking in technological knowledge as well as many resources which urban students can afford so college has the responsibility to help the students to excel with some relaxation and extra efforts from our part. The College since its establishment is performing the responsibility to support the tribal students in excelling in Higher Education and serving the society as well. This is the unique feature of our college.
A large number of students from this college are holding prestigious and distinguished position in different areas like, business, entrepreneurship, administrative, education and defense services. In sports our students participated in different sports like cricket and represented our college at state and national level.
The NSS, NCC and Youth Red Cross wings are actively involved in social activities and take lead in creating awareness. They also organize Blood donation camps and different activities in nearby places. NSS volunteers of our college also represented in different state and national level events and camps and got exploration.
The college library is well equipped with books, reference books, journals, and reading rooms. It has a book bank facility for SC and ST students. It has different sections like circulation, journal section, newspaper corner, competitive books corner, religious books section , multimedia section etc.
The college gives a number of scholarships for SC / ST, BPL, sports quota, differently abled students sanctioned by the government.
